He completed his MBBS from Acharya Shri Chandra College, Jammu, with a distinction in Pediatrics and pursued his DNB in Radiotherapy from the National Board of Examinations, New Delhi, in 2011. Dr. Bashir has an extensive career in radiation oncology, starting as a Senior Resident at Batra Hospital in 2011, where he eventually became a Senior Consultant. He also completed a Fellowship in Palliative Care from St. Christopher?s Hospice, London, in 2015. His academic contributions include presenting research at renowned conferences like AROICON, RSNA, and ESTRO, with a focus on dosimetric studies in radiation therapy for head and neck cancers, cervical cancer, and brachytherapy. Dr. Bashir has co-authored numerous publications in prestigious medical journals, emphasizing his expertise in radiotherapy and its impact on cancer treatment.
